Why can't I see anything in my microscope?

What powered lens are you using? Also what kind of microscope are you using? It soungs like you would be better served using a dissecting microscope rather than a light microscope if this is the case. If you are set on using the microscope perhaps try a different sample. Always remember to use your scanning lens first. Perhaps try looking at some larvae like mosquito larvae. Good luck.
