Hi can any one help whether Leeds metropolitan university is good univ?

Well it certainly isn't a top university and it's place is not high up in the university table. But I've been inside the campus and it's quite nice and the facilities are ok as well (i think you can borrow games and DVDs from the library :O). And i know a few people from Leeds Met and they're all very nice. I don't know what the course is like though because I'm actually studying in the University of Leeds but i can tell you that Leeds is a very nice city with alot of good pubs and clubs and alot of shops. The city is pretty safe but Hyde park is abit rough and you don't want to take a taxi by yourself at night if you're a girl, but other than that it's not as bad as other big cities where you keep hearing stories of people getting knifed and shot. Plus i think the tuition fee is something like �2000 a year (depending on the course) which is a whole �1200 cheaper than Leeds uni. So yeah Leeds is a good city and if you enjoy night outs then pick it, my friend is in Hull this year and he says it is the most boring place ever, so keep that in mind when picking a university.
