Who can save the Republican Party?

I know many of you don't like the Republican party, but if you're answering this question, answer it rationally and respectfully.... If you haven't noticed, many moderate Republicans have been switching over to Obama. And I'm glad. I never felt that moderates had a place in the Republican Party and I don't think they should let these guys back in. But many of those people are the top people in the party who have been building the modern Republican party. Now I like John McCain. But the fact is that he is a moderate. Even if he does get elected, it wouldn't be like a true Reagan-Republican in power (we don't have a true Reagan-Republican in power right now either). The Republican party would still need to improve... What true, red, conservative Republican can save the Republican party so that we're not basically voting for the same party in 20 years?..... In my personal opinion, I think Mike Huckabee, Fred Thompson, Mitt Romney, and Sarah Palin need to step up and change the party's liberal direction that this administration and the other leading Republicans have dragged us into. Thank you for your respectful response.
