What to do when you need to get away but have no money to do so?

I am at a place in my life where I really need to just get away. Like go on an extended journey with no real destination or objective other than to hopefully find some sort of enlightenment or "self discovery" or at the very least a new perspective on things. The only problem is I have NO money.... like I am almost completely broke (I got laid off awhile ago). So, what would you all suggest in this situation?
