Try using Yahoo!Finance or similar sites that allow for stock lookups. This will work for publicly traded companies. Using your Honda example, I found information on officers, stock price history, competitors and industry, press releases, etcs. You can also try Wikipedia, though this may be greatly influenced by the company you are trying to research.
